TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By utilising the services provided by EC Veterinary Physiotherapy, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below. Any involvement in this service constitutes to the acceptance of this agreement; if you do not agree the rules and guidelines in place do not use this service. 


  1. Prior to any first treatment consent is required from your animal’s veterinarian (in line with the veterinary surgeons act, 1966). A vet consent form can be found on our website.

  2. EC Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse treatment if; vet consent has not been obtained, if the animal is not fit for physiotherapy or the animal is deemed a risk to its own or human safety.

  3. The registered owner of the animal will be responsible for any fees due. Payment must be made on the day of the appointment.

  4. EC Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse the booking of an appointment if the owner has an outstanding payment for a previous session.

  5. EC Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the right to contact your veterinary surgeon if it is believed that your animal is subject to poor animal welfare.

  6. Cancellation policy: cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment time will result in a 50% charge.

  7. It is understood that EC Veterinary Physiotherapy accepts no responsibility for a decline in patient condition which relates to being given false/inaccurate information from either veterinary surgeon or owner.

PRIVACY POLICY

EC Veterinary Physiotherapy collects personal information about clients for the purpose of veterinary physiotherapy services. This data is held securely and only shared with your paraprofessionals (e.g. your veterinary surgeon) to inform them of treatment progress. Contact details provided will be used to contact you in the interest of your appointment and your animal’s treatment. There may arise a circumstance where your records will need sharing with OTHER paraprofessionals or insurance companies. If this is required a written permission from yourself will be requested.


Veterinary physiotherapy records are kept for 8 years from last treatment (insurance purposes). All records are in locked storage when not in use. We do our upmost to keep all personal information secure. Information through email or through our website may not be completely secure as this is through the internet; this is at your own risk.


You reserve the right to access your personal information from EC Veterinary Physiotherapy at any time, as well as rectifying any incorrect personal data. 

By using the services of EC Veterinary Physiotherapy, you are agreeing to the privacy policy stated above.
